The cordon of dunes that borders
Oliva beach is of high ecological value and allows us to enjoy the
natural state of a Mediterranean beach: a beach of fine, golden sand
that blends gently into dunes sculptured by the wind and the tiny grains
of sand. |

This process of accumulation and
settling has formed a headland that runs parallel to the line of the
beach and reaches a maximum height of seven metres and a maximum width
of forty metres.

This accumulation of sand has
attracted a plant and animal colony that has created an ecological
system of great interest because of the diversity of species and their
capacity to adapt to such a frugal environment. |

Also, the height of the dunes
allows us to take a relaxed walk while admiring the sea and the
mountains from a perspective that makes us feel in the wildest natural
landscape. |
